Attorney Schmidt

A life-long resident of Western Massachusetts, Attorney Schmidt has 18 years of experience handling complex criminal and civil litigation.  He started his career at the Law Offices of Thomas A. Kenefick, III, handling civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Massachusetts, with a focus on business litigation and medical malpractice.  He then joined the Hampden District Attorney's Office in 2011 where he worked for 8 years.  As a prosecutor, Attorney Schmidt handled all types of felony and misdemeanor cases and was specially assigned to handle wiretap, sexual assault and vehicular homicide prosecutions.   He supervised dozens of vehicular homicide investigations as well as a murder investigation.  He also has extensive trial experience and success, including high-profile media covered cases. Now in private practice, Attorney Schmidt represents clients throughout the state in both criminal and civil matters.  No matter the complexity, Attorney Schmidt has the experience and skill to both advise you and zealously advocate on your behalf.
